Each 1g, 500mg & 250mg vials contain: Ceftiofur sodium sterile powder eq. to 1g, 500mg & 250mg Ceftiofur activity

Dilution: Each 1g, 500mg & 250mg vial requires 20ml, 10ml & 5ml FFSWFI for reconstitution of the sterile Ceftiofur powder. After reconstitution each ml clear solution will provide 50mg Ceftiofur activity.

 Indications: Bovine respiratory diseases (BRD) like HS/Pneumonia /Bronchopneumonia etc.

Uterine infections like Pyometra, Metritis, Retention of placenta etc. Foot rot,

Canine urinary tract infections caused by E.coli & Proteus mirabilis,

Equine respiratory infection caused by Streptococcus zooepidemicus, Swine pneumonia,

Poultry: ECM (Early chick mortality caused by Escherichia coli & Salmonellosis in adult birds.

Dosage:

Cattle / Sheep /Goats: 1.1 to 2.2mg/kg B.Wt. once daily through I/M route for 3-5 days

Buffaloes: 2 – 2.4mg/kg B.Wt. once daily through I/M route for 3-5 days

Dogs: 2.2mg/kg B.Wt. Once daily through S/C route for 5 – 15 days

Horses: 2.2 – 4.4mg/kg B.Wt. once daily though I/M route for 3-5 days

Camels: 2.2 mg/kg B.Wt. once daily though I/M route for 3-5 days

Elephants: 2.2 – 4.4mg/kg B.Wt. once daily though I/M route for 3-5 days

Day old chicks: 0.08 – 0.2mg /Chick through S/C route at the upper part of neck region with 26 gauge needle

Adult Birds: 2.5 – 5mg /kg. B.Wt. through S/C route or 2days

Presentations: 250mg, 500mg & 1g vial with FFS WFI

 N.B: Reconstituted solution can be stored for 7days at 2 – 8^o C without any deterioration of efficacy of the Ceftiofur activity.
